Requirements and Qualifications
To secure a job in the Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board, there are certain requirements and qualifications you must posses. See the requirements below;
Applicant must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant subjects areas with a minimum pass grade of 2nd class lower division;
- B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc, B.Tech
- M.Ed, M.A, or M.Sc
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
Candidate most possess a 2nd class upper division (2/1) and a first class certificate would be an additional advantage.
Candidate must have completed or been exempted from the NYSC scheme
How to Apply for sseb.ak.gov.ng Recruitment
The application for the recruitment exercise is to be completed online at www.sseb.ak.gov.ng. Log on to the application portal, fill the application form without mistakes and submit.
Submission of application forms begins on the 18th of January, 2024 and will end on the 29th of January, 2024. Applicants are expected to submit their applications before the deadline as the portal will not be open again after closure.
Examination Date
Upon successful application, shortlisted candidates will be called upon for the screening test which will now be the final stage of the recruitment. See the screening test schedule below;
The examination will hold on 13th February, 2024 by 10am in the three senatorial districts at the following centers;
- Government secondary school, afaha eket, Eket
- Community secondary school, aka offot, Uyo
- State College, Ikot Ekpene
